The FWT Development Crew

Mike Blanchard | Co-Founder | mike_blanchard@takingitglobal.org

Mike Blanchard is a 16 year old who lives in Perth, Western Australia. He has been associated with various organisations working for positive change since August 2001, when he became a volunteer discussion moderator and creative writer for TakingITGlobal.

Mike is also one of a small number of Young Australians who were selected to be Funding Committee members in the 'Youth Grant Maker' initiative by the Foundation for Young Australians.

Mike is of the belief that peace, not aggression, can solve all the worlds problems. The key to solving conflict, whether between two nations or two people, is to sustain a creative and open-minded dialogue. In an environment of global uncertainty and aggression, the only way peace can prevail is if those who believe in it stand up to be counted.

Cara Holcombe | Co-Founder | cara_holcombe@hotmail.com

Cara now intends to put her knowledge inspiration and energy to work, while travelling and experiencing people and places of the world.

Cara currently resides in The Netherlands, and anticipates to work and travel within The Netherlands and/or throughout Europe. She intends to remain up-to-date with research and knowledge in the field of Environmental Management and Sustainable Tourism, while developing alternative forms of expression for inspiring people to move towards more sustainable lifestyles.
